Tous les gagnants de cette deuxième édition du concours « Digital Africa » bénéficieront d’une visibilité élevée et d’un accès à un réseau international de partenaires, de clients et d’investisseurs. Ils feront partie d’une communauté qui rassemblera les meilleurs talents de l’innovation numérique en Afrique et pour l’Afrique, afin de partager les expériences et les bonnes pratiques.
Les 5 startups africaines gagnantes seront accompagnées par l’AFD à travers un «pack accélération», un support technique et financier jusqu’à une valeur de 30.000 Euros.
Dieudonné Okalas Ossami, E-Tumba, qui a remporté la première édition de ce concours, indiquait d’ailleurs que «Pour une jeune startup, Digital Africa offre une excellente opportunité d’acquérir une visibilité continentale et internationale.»
MAIS QUELS SONT LES CRITERES DE PARTICIPATION / SELECTION AU CONCOURS ?
Pour la deuxième édition de Digital Africa, les startups sont invitées à proposer des projets innovants liés aux thèmes suivants:
- Territoire (défi urbain, transformation rurale, Smart City, etc.)
- Citoyenneté (gouvernement électronique, engagement civique, activisme et médias alternatifs, etc.)
- Connaissance et créativité (éducation, formation, industries créatives et culturelles, etc.)
- Environnement et climat (technologies vertes, technologies propres, transports durables, économie bleue, énergies renouvelables, etc.)
La pertinence des solutions proposées, leur faisabilité, leur pérennité et leur impact potentiel seront les critères clés du processus de sélection divisé en plusieurs étapes:
- In-depth analysis of projects, their innovative nature and their business model;
- a review of shortlisted projects by experts from AFD and Bpifrance;
- A final selection by a jury made up of experts from the technological and entrepreneurial ecosystem in Africa.
